Welcome to the Midlands Playmakers, where a passion for basketball meets dedication to youth development. Established by John “J.T” Howell with a vision to empower young athletes, The Midlands Playmakers is a basketball organization dedicated to instilling values of sportsmanship and integrity, while mentoring our young men.

Beyond the court, The Midlands Playmakers are committed to giving back to the community. We actively participate in programs to impact the lives of those in our community. Most recently we have sponsored families at Christmas with Families Helping Families, and we also hold an annual event: Feeding Families for Thanksgiving. Thanks to your generous donations, our young men were able to give out 108 Thanksgiving meal boxes for our community!
